Grace O'Brien Sacripanti graduated high school from Wakefield School, a small private liberal arts school in The Plains, Virginia. With a passion for international relations, Grace Sacripanti chose to write about the crisis in Venezuela to pay homage to her Venezuelan family living in Caracas. Using anecdotes from family and communities members, Grace Sacripanti used their experiences to paint an authentic picture of the Venezuelan story.
